News: Sept, 17 at 6 p.m.  The Congress of the Russian-Speaking Communities of Montreal cordially invites you to the charitable concert of the children’s osetian danse troupe "Sabi". This concert will feature the children victims of the terrorist act in Beslan (Russia) in September 2004. By this performance the children of Beslan will express their gratitude to the Canadians, who stood by them in the days of the terrible tragedy. Sept, 17 @ 6 p.m. At Brebeuf College, 5575 Decelles (corner of Cote St-Catherine)  Free parking.

  Who we are?
  Russian Humanitarian House is a multiethnic community based non-profit organization, established by open voting of the Russian community of Montreal and acting in its cultural and humanitarian interests.

Our mission
to be first open door for immigrants

To welcome warmly new-comers and to help them integrate into society, to help them learn easily official languages of Canada. 
To enrich Canadian culture with Russian cultural heritage.
To build an open Russian community on traditions of russian hospitality and common values of humanity.

Our services and current programs
It's free and done by our volunteers

  • welcoming, orientation, translation, lectures on psychology of immigration and adaptation, other help for new arrivals;
  • French, English, Spanish and Russian courses (upcoming);
  • Patronage Program for Russian-speaking inmates (in collaboration of Correction Canada);
  • aid in emergency situations (upcoming)
  • introductory service for new-coming entrepreneurs in Russian;
  • art-exhibitions, presentation and other cultural events;
  • relationships with authorities and ethnic communities.
